I asked David French about his Ziggy Elman book, and he told me in late November 2005 that it's in the hands of a literary agent:
" . . . Tentative title is Zaggin' with Zig . . . I'm still on the lookout for anyone that knew Ziggy at all, including anyone who took trumpet lessons from him . . . "
