Placing photos of famous leaders on the covers helped to sell the sheet music by capitalizing on the popularity of that leader.
Songs often were associated with a specific leader; however, in many cases, there is no surviving proof that specific leaders did, in fact, perform every song listed under their name.
Titles with an asterisk ( * ) state their name but do not include a cover photo of them.
